April 2019 in association withI am being done in Pokaran block of Jaisalmer district.Main Objective: Prioritizing the needs of the villagers of Thar Desert, for their inclusive development through sustainable livelihood promotion and to solve the challenges of the area in a permanent way.Project Progress Details: Special Achievements:Duly registration of 240 camel breeders' federation of 20 villages under Camel ClusterRegistration was done with the Cooperative Department, Government of Rajasthan.The operation of Camel Dairy has started in Pokhran and at present, 100 liters of milk are being sold daily in Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Phalodi, Pokhran and Nagaur.Products like soap, surf, ice cream, biscuits etc. are being sold in the market from camel milk.In the implementation of the activities of the project, cooperation and guidance is being received from the concerned government departments.Women are preparing products in the craft and have started selling their products themselves in metropolitan cities.The work done by the self-help groups has developed a tendency to innovate for their livelihood. Various pieces of training were given to connect the group members with employment.Enthusiasm, enthusiasm and leadership ability were developed in adolescent girls through sports. They have less hesitation to go out.Market linkage to promote community tourism: To promote community tourism developed under the project, various hoteliers participated in Maru Mahotsav, Porakan 2020 at the Jaisalmer district level for market linkage and promotion. Apart from this, web site, browser, publicity materials and rules, etc. were prepared for the tourism program so that the work of tourism can be conducted in the best way, along with increasing the livelihood of the local people, they can be taken forward in the direction of economic empowerment. Can goother activitiesCamel Milk Dairy was started by Camel Federation.240 out rearers were registered with the Cooperative Department, Government of RajasthanMembers were made.Marketing of 200 litres of camel milk is being done daily and cheese is also being made.The products made under the project are inspected by the district administration.Rasht kits of food items were distributed to 121 families most affected by the Corona pandemic.At the time of Corona epidemic, the personnel informed the villagers about the methods of prevention of this epidemic. In 14 villages of 6-gram panchayats of the project, cloth masks were made and distributed free of cost to villagers and government departments, migrants and poor families in rural areas. Apart from this, by lobbying with the government and people's representatives, kits of ration materials, medical cooperation, awareness, Corona prevention measures, etc. were done.Meetings with block and district-level government officials. Contact and discussion with religious leaders, chiefs, and public representatives.A seed bank was established in which timely seeds and fertilizers could be made available to farmers at reasonable prices.Production construction training and collection sampling workshop was organized at Craft Center in which 51 artisan women and men participated.Meetings were organized in 14 villages of the project work area to make them garbage-free panchayats.International Women's Day was organized on March 8, 2022. 426 women from 14 villages of the panchayats of the project area participated.
