Name of the Project SBI Gram Sewa Project Scope of Project Project Block, Jaisalmer, Jaisalmer District Financial Assistance SBI Foundation-Mumbai Project Start January-2022It is being done in 5 villages of 2-gram panchayats of the Jaisalmer sub-division of Jaisalmer district.Main objective: The objective of the project is rural development. Under the project, work is being done on issues such as digitization, education, health, water, sanitation, livelihood management, youth development, the orientation of women, environmental protection, development of village infrastructure, promotion of government schemes and various orientations of villagers. Are. Integrated rural development is proposed under the project. Under the project, villages have to fulfil Gandhiji's dream of Gram Swaraj.Project Progress Details:Digitization:Under the Village Service Project, it is proposed to develop Village Service Centers in all the villages of the project area. Through which the solution to the digital tasks of the villagers can be done at the village level. Such as making ration cards, making and updating Jan's Aadhaar card, getting information about agricultural schemes etc. At present, 3 village service centres are being successfully operated in the project area, along with the development of two village service centres is proposed. Through these Gram Seva Kendras, digital services are being made available to the villagers at the village level itself. Through these centres, 1 youth has been linked with employment at each centre.Education: Under the Village Service Project, remedial classes are being organized in each village of the project in the education sector, through which free education is being provided to boys and girls from classes 1 to 8. Along with this, efforts are being made to connect the boys and girls deprived of education with the school. So that no child is deprived of education.Similarly, through the project, poor girls in the project area are being encouraged to advanced education by providing them scholarships. Financial assistance of ₹ 5000/- has been provided to each girl child.Health: Under the Village Service Project, a medical van facility has been made available to the project area in the health sector. Through this ambulance, efforts are being made to organize health check-up camps twice a month in each village for the strengthening of health services in the nearest villages of the project area. Due to this the villagers are getting health benefits.Women Promotion:Under the Village Service Project, innovative efforts are being made for the upliftment of women. Rural women in the project area are being provided training to make soap from goat's milk for economic upliftment. During training, women are being provided training for making soap from goat's milk as well as marketing it.Village development:Under the Village Service Project, the publicity of the project was spread by putting up information boards of the project in all the villages of the project area under village development.Community Promotion:-In view of the special importance of community promotion under the Village Service Project, various activities are being conducted under the project. To connect with the community.Formation of Self-Help Groups: Under the projectUnder the Village Service Project, self-help groups of women have been formed for the orientation of women. Various livelihood related training camps are being organized for the orientation of these groups under the project and will be done in future.
