Program scopeAsha Kiran Center Operation Program - Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Nagaur Districts, Financial Assistance RILM (B) project started. April 2017Program Objectives: Identification of boys and girls in the age group of 06 to 14 deprived of education and preparation through the centre to add government regular schools. Identifying the weak and dropout children studying in the school, connecting them with the school and preparing them for regular education through the center to improve the educational level of the weak children. Connecting boys and girls living in urban slum areas with their nearest government school through Asha Kiran Kendra. To conduct Asha Kiran Kendra near the residence of education-deprived, weak and dropout children and prepare them for joining regular schools.According to the above details, a total of 53 Asha Kiran centres in 09 blocks of 5 districts of Rajasthan are being operated regularly by the organization since April 2017. Out of 53 Asha Kiran centres operated in this way, 03 centres are operated in Bikaner city and the remaining 50 centres are being operated in remote rural areas of the district.Details of children enrolled block-wise at Asha Kiran centres:As per the above details, a total of 53 Asha Kiran centres are being operated in 09 blocks of 5 districts of Rajasthan. A total of 2196 children are enrolled in these 53 centres. In this way, efforts are being made by the organization to connect all these 2196 children with the regular education system run by the government, by improving the educational level of the children by operating the centers on a regular basis and by motivating and encouraging the parents. This is being done so that all the children can join the regular education system and get regular education.Block-wise details of children enrolled in government and non-government schools:As per the above details, a total of 53 Asha Kiran centers are being operated in 09 blocks of 5 districts of Rajasthan. A total of 2196 children are enrolled in these 53 centres. Teaching work was done at the centre regularly for three months by Asha Kiran teachers, after that, they were admitted to government and non-government schools near the center and village, out of a total 2196, 1737 children were admitted to the school, present all the children are going to the school regularly. The attendance of all the children is more than 80 per cent, and follow-up is being done from time to time by the teachers of Asha Kiran Center.
